Benefit Books
"In an effort to give back to my local community in a bigger way, I've begun organizing "benefit books." For each anthology, I choose 5 to 11 talented, caring authors to contribute, with me, a short novella tied in by theme. All author and agent proceeds from the book go to a worthwhile local cause. Because of the longevity of books and how royalties are paid, it's the gift that keeps on giving throughout the years. I'd like to give my sincere thanks to Berkley for making the benefit books possible, and extra thanks to the generous authors who always say "YES!" when I ask if they'll take part."

The Write Ingredients: Recipes From Your Favorite Authors ebook ISBN: 1-59998-652-3 print ISBN: 1-59998-653-1 Lori Foster and Dianne Castell organized a cookbook with recipes from over 90 of your favorite authors and some from familiar readers and family. The book, titled The Write Ingredients: Recipes from Your Favorite Authors, was published by Samhain and is now available. All Author and Agent proceeds from sales of the book will go toward the "Troop Project," headed by Laurie Damron, to send care packages to active duty troops.
