Yes, my hero is Jude Jamison, and he's not only a bad boy actor, but he gained his recognition in a sport I modeled from the UFC.
I LOVE the sport, and while I've learned quite a few of the rules and holds, I feared insulting a fighter with what I *don't* know, so for the purposes of my book, my sport is the SBC - Supreme Battle Challenge.

My favorite fighter is Randy Couture:
He epitomizes the kick-ass hero. He's now in his 40s, and recognized as one of the best fighters in the world. Named "The Natural" for his athleticism and wrestling ability, Randy's a four-time world team member in wrestling, four-time national champion in Greco-Roman wrestling, three-time All-American in college and a two-time runner-up at the NCAA National Championships. He was the Pan Am Games champion and placed ninth in the 1997 World Championship in Poland.

And one of the most gorgeous men in the UFC is Bas (pronounced "Boss") Rutten:

He's a charmer, for sure, and I have no doubt he's part of the draw for the female audience.
