Raffle and critique prizes earned us over $2500 to donate to the Battered Women's shelter! To that amount, we'll add a part of the proceeds from the bookfair, after it's all been tallied.

Laurie Damron, our coordinator for Troop donations, said, "I would like to thank everyone who donated items or money for our troop program at the get together this year. The outpouring of your support for our servicemen and women was heartening and very much appreciated. You gave over $200 in monetary contributions and the boxes and bags are overflowing in my dining room! Big thanks also to the many authors who contributed books and other goodies for the raffle baskets or for inclusion in troop shipments!"
