I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day! Our weather was incredible – like spring! So I already have all my Christmas lights up, and on Thanksgiving Day, my lovely daughter-in-law helped me do the inside decorations. We were all home together, my three sons, my daughter-in-law, and my grandson. I couldn’t ask for more than that, except to say that I hope your day was just as special.
In between holiday shopping and family visits, I’ve been hard at work on the second Servant novel, Servant: The Acceptance, scheduled for September 2008. The response to the first Servant book has been incredible, and I owe you all a giant THANK YOU for giving it a chance, and for sending me such amazing emails. SPECIAL HOLIDAY FUNDRAISER
Throughout the year, but especially during the holiday season, I count my many, many blessings. At the top of my list are my 3 healthy sons, and my healthy grandson. Sadly, that is so much more than many people have.
From now until the end of December, I want to help raise money for St. Jude Children's Hospital. I have extra copies of Servant: The Awakening and Simon Says, plus I have one arc (advanced reviewer's copy) of Hard to Handle.
WHILE SUPPLIES LAST (email me at lorilfoster@gmail.com to check on supply) anyone who sends me a $5 check made out to "St. Jude Children's Research Hospital," and an SASE (Self addressed, Stamped envelope) with $3 postage on it, I'll send your choice of a signed copy of Simon Says or Servant: The Awakening.
If you want both books, make it a $10 check to St. Jude, and make the postage $5.
At the end of December, I'll randomly draw one name from all of those who donated, and that person will win the arc of Hard to Handle.
