Lori's Newsletter
July 2007
Dear Reader,
FIRST THINGS FIRST:
It was SO nice to see all of you at the Reader & Author Get Together in June. We had an enormously successful event, and I thank you all for attending!
Our numbers were pretty sweet too:
$4204.44 to the Battered Women’s Shelter (updated from my original figures, because the BN sales turned out to be more than we first thought.)
$500 to the Animal Adoption Foundation (my local animal shelter)
$225 in cash to mail off the numerous gift donations for the troops.
Everyone who attended was so generous, and so much fun. We had a blast. If you weren’t there this year, I hope you’ll join us next year. Registration for 08 will begin around late Feb or early March.
In the meantime, check out the Reader & Author Get Together page to see photos from this year’s event!
MYSPACE
If you haven’t joined Myspace yet, you’re missing out on great interaction opportunities. I have two Myspace accounts, one for each of my writing names.
www.myspace.com/mostlymam is titled “mostlymam” because that’s what my boys playfully call me, and I originally intended it for family only. But then it grew in a big way. So now it’s my Lori Foster myspace. I have a very special blog currently up, and I’d love for you to take a look, and maybe post a comment on the blog. It’s all about my perspective on the fighters that I’m currently featuring in my series.
I also have a myspace site at www.myspace.com/llfoster and that’s for my SERVANT: The Awakening series. It’s still pretty new, but quickly growing! You can see my awesome SERVANT video on there.
Speaking of the fighters, check out a cool article on www.mmaworldwide.com – go to the center column and click on the link to read an excerpt for SIMON SAYS, an interview I did with one of my fave fighters, Mike Swick, and see a really neat ad that was in TAPOUT magazine. J

In case you missed my earlier announcement, TOO MUCH TEMPTATION is being repackaged and reissued in December 07. Lovely new cover! Check it out on my book pages.
NEW PROMO MATERIAL:
I now have cover flats for the reissue of TOO MUCH TEMPTATION.
Other cover flats: ENTICING and A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS.

A new excerpt has been posted for SIMON SAYS. Also, if you haven’t seen that video yet, be sure to check it out! It’s pretty cool.
READER QUESTIONS:
A lot of you are asking me if I plan to write more on Jude or Quinton, and I’m asked daily if I’ll be doing a story for Tim or Denny.
Unfortunately, the answer is no – at least for now. I never say never, but for the foreseeable future, I have no plans to write further in that series.
I do, however, have more plans for my SBC fighters, including a Feb 08 release of HARD TO HANDLE, featuring Harley Handleman, who you’ll meet in SIMON SAYS. Barber, also from SIMON SAYS, will have a secondary romance in the book, and as yet, I have no plans for Mallet.
After that, I’m working on the idea of a time travel for one of my fighters. It would be from present time into the future. What do you think? I’d love some reader feedback on a very sexy, super-alpha guy traveling into the future to help out a struggling community. You can email me at lorifoster1@fuse.net
The other question I’ve gotten from folks who read an early copy of SIMON SAYS, was whether or not Simon and Clint Evans, from JUST A HINT-CLINT are related. Picture me red-faced. I suck at remembering names, so the fact that they share the same last name is just lameness on my part.
I suppose I could pretend they’re cousins or something, but I’m not a good fibber, so I’ll just admit to human error. Trust me, it won’t be the last time I mess up something.
Actually, I did the name thing once before, and readers being sharper than me, asked me about it then, too! I guess I should start a list of last names I’ve already used, huh? That is, if I ever get ahead enough to think about lists.
I hope you all forgive my lack of memory.
And I doubly hope you enjoy SIMON SAYS! I’m anxious for your feedback.
In the meantime, keep smiling, happy reading, and be safe.
