APRIL SHOWERS BRING MAY FLOWERS...
I don’t know about you, but I’m LOVING the sight of flowers everywhere. Along our pond, hyacinth, tulips and daffodils are all blooming. Closer to the house, peonies are making great headway, and all along the retaining wall of our driveway, the knock-out roses are growing like crazy. I’m anxious to plant some impatiens and petunias... and more!
I don’t have a whole lot to say this month. My crazy month of March has dwindled down and everything is fine now. My dad is out of the hospital and feeling terrific, they caught the man who robbed my son at the bank, and the family friend has had an astounding turnaround. He’s got lots of physical therapy ahead, but he WILL recover.

I have a lot of freebies right now, including magnets, pens, key chains, bookmarks, post cards, and magnets. First come, first serve. If you send an SASE (Self Addressed Stamped Envelope) for freebies, be sure to make it big enough for what you want. And it doesn’t hurt to include an extra stamp on there...

BOOKS AND OTHER BIZ...
On the home page of my site – www.lorifoster.com – you can see a wonderfully adorable book trailer video for Tails of Love, the anthology where all authors and their agents are donating all proceeds to the AAF – no kill animal shelter.

On the “upcoming books” front, well..... I answered some questions last month, particularly one about what the next single title will be. And of course, now things have changed.
I had said:
Yes, the next single title romance WILL be a straight contemporary, but no, it won’t be Drew Black’s story as I first thought.
Since then, I found out that I’ll be writing future single titles for Hqn (a different publisher for me) so now, YES, the next single title WILL be Drew Black’s story, and the book I had been working on will get published by Hqn, probably sometime in the fall of 2010. Confusing, I know. I hope to start doing two single title romances per year for the next few years.
Remember, I explain all this more on my various outlets – facebook, my message board, myspace... you can always reach me at any of them! But I don’t want to make the newsletter too long.
I won’t have any books out in April or May, but in June, Impetuous, my first book, will be reissued as part of the “Famous Firsts” from Harlequin.
Also in June, Tails of Love, a special anthology with all author and agent proceeds going to a local animal shelter, the AAF will be released.
