August Newsletter!
Hey everyone! I’m back from RWA – Romance Writers of America – and I had a great time in Washington, D.C. The weather and the area was beautiful, but it was the company I loved!
I have a ton of photos added to the site. My highlights are having dinner with sister Quills, Stella Cameron and Kate Douglas, with Kate’s husband along. Very relaxing and fun.
And I got to meet talent author Heidi Betts face to face for a meal. (Yeah, everything is done over a meal! LOL) She’s charming and smart and I feel like I’ve known her forever. She’s now forced to be one of my “must see” people whenever I do a conference.
I was a presenter for the Golden Heart (RWA contest for unpublished authors) and it was lovely. What a great job the coordinators do, and so much talent involved! Just amazing.
The literacy signing was jam-packed and mega fun. It gave me a chance to see wonderful, long-distance friends, authors and editors.
