Happy November everyone, especially you Scorpio babies.
November is a crazy month for me, not just because of the approach of the holidays, but because of several birthdays, my own included. Yup, I'm a Scorpio.
Mid-November I'll hit a whooping 51, and that happens 8 days before my husband turns 51. He always teases me about robbing the cradle. :::grin:::: I know I'm truly blessed in too many ways to count, and that's part of why I'm doing a really huge contest on my website and my social sites.
So.... on to the details.
CONTEST!
A favorite charity of mine is the ONE WAY FARM for abused and abandoned children. I know that if you visit the site and read their mission statement, you'll want to take part, too. So I'm making it easy! For every $1 you donate to the ONE WAY FARM, I'll enter you in a giant "Give Away" that you don't want to miss! $5 gives you 5 chances to win. $10 gives you 10 chances, and so on. Minimum donation of $1.
Not only can you win a lot of autographed books and other fun goodies, you could also win a PAID REGISTRATION and TWO HOTEL NIGHTS for the 2010 Reader and Author Get Together. The 2009 event had over 300 people in attendance, 100 of them authors. Readers, writers, editors, agents, and publishers all come together for any booklover's ideal fun-filled weekend! There's plenty of opportunity for getting your books signed, talking to sister readers or authors, photo ops, good food, and raffles, all in a relaxed atmosphere.

Please remember – I'm trying to get my Facebook friends to join my Facebook fan page. I'm told that after 5000 people join my personal page, it'll shut down – and we don't want that! I have over 3000 friends right now, and I get over 50 more each week, so... closing in fast!
Fan pages can accommodate a lot more people. The Fan page would be the same as my personal page, though. There's a link for the fan page on my regular Facebook page, right below my profile picture.
