MAY FLOWERS!
This is going to be another quickie newsletter because I've been so busy traveling.

Just a Hint-ClintNEW EXCERPTS
New updates on my website include an excerpt for the reissue of Just a Hint – Clint available in June of this year. (It has a new cover, so don't accidentally buy a book you already have.

The Gift of LoveAnd don't forget about the 3rd Benefit book, The Gift of Love. All author and agent proceeds from the sale of the book will go to benefit The Conductive Learning Center, a special school for children with spina bifida and cerebral palsy. The stories are all romances by some of today's favorite and bestselling authors! I hope you give it a try.

TemptedAlso, excerpts are up for Tempted, a reissue of "Annie Get Your Guy," "Messing Around With Max," and "Little Miss Innocent?" Check out my "Coming Soon" page to see the covers for all the upcoming books.

BOOKSIGNINGS
Check out all the signing events on my website.

I just finished up at the Romantic Times convention in Columbus, Ohio. I had a GREAT time but now I'm so zoned I don't know which end is up. I did find the time to post some really fabulous photos from the event on my Facebook fan page. If you're not a member of the fan page, sign up! Next week I'll be giving away the tote bag – signed by some of today’s biggest name romance authors – along with all the swag that was in the bag AND some books signed by L. A. Banks, Jim Butcher, and Charlaine Harris. You can find the fan page here.

May 7th and 8th I’ll be taking part in the Ohioana Library Festival in Columbus Ohio. You can support Ohioana Libraries and indulge your love of books. Shop May 7th - 9th at any Barnes & Noble in the country or online May 7th - 13th and use the voucher ID, and 10% to 20% of your purchase will be donated to Ohioana. Take the voucher or just jot down the number and remember to present it prior to making your purchase.

Reader Author Get Together 2010
We currently have 230 people registered for the 6th annual "Reader and Author Get Together!" Don’t forget, the deadline for registering is May 19th!
EVERYONE IS WELCOME!

Information for the Get Together, including registration, is on my website under the community link. We're still the best deal in town with registration for the entire weekend being only $50! Readers and authors alike will enjoy the casual atmosphere, the access to books, the conversation, good food, fun, games and photo ops!

The list of attending authors and special guests continues to grow!
* New feature: you can now access a printable list of authors from the website. If you want to bring already purchased books to be signed by the authors who will be attending, this is the easiest way to go through your shelves!

BLOGGING
Don't forget to visit me at Running with Quills.
Other authors who rotate blogging there are: Susan Anderson, Stella Cameron, Kate Douglas, Jayne Ann Krentz, Elizabeth Lowell, and Carla Neggers.
I blog every other Friday. :)

PRINTABLE ONE SHEET CALENDAR
The printable one sheet calendar of upcoming releases has been updated for 2010. You can find it here.

FACEBOOK
Please remember – I'm trying to get my Facebook friends to join my Facebook fan page. I'm told that after 5000 people join my personal page, it'll shut down – and we don't want that! The fan page now has over 2100 fans! The regular profile has over 4000 friends already, so anyone who tries to sign up for that will be redirected, via Facebook email, to my Fan pages.

Fan pages can accommodate a lot more people. The Fan page would be the same as my personal page, though. There's a link for the fan page on my regular Facebook page, right below my profile picture.

CAFEPRESS
Lastly, don't forget to check out my Cafepress store where you’ll find fun gifts for the reader or writer in your family! I just added some fun new shirts under the "Original" tab, Readers. I know you'll enjoy them!

CONTEST
This contest is by another author, Trinity Blacio, but since she's supporting a favorite cause of mine, I wanted to share the info with everyone.

Hello my name is Trinity Blacio and this year I'm running a three month contest. Lori is donating a prize too. This contest is also a fundraiser for a group home in Cincinnati, Ohio. It's for the One Way Farm for Abused and Abandoned Children.

One Way Farm
6131 River Road
P.O. Box 18637
Fairfield, OH 45018

The contest will run from April 1- June 1

I've always loved working with children and Lori Foster announced that she was donating the proceeds from raffles at the Reader and Author Get Together - to the One Way Farm, I wanted to do a little more to help. Below is the information about the contest. I'm hoping you will spread the word and make this contest and fund raiser a huge success. I would love to surprise Lori at the Gathering with a nice huge check for this event.

So with this in mind, this is my contest: You can also find the information on my website.

1. Post your name under the blog "One Way Farm Children’s Home Contest"
2. Send me an email, and I'll send you my home address. Or I’ve set up a pay-pal account for this and I'll send you the email address for it.
3. Donate a quarter or more, whatever you can give, to go toward this great place.
4. Every week I will send out listings of all the people who have donated. "Don't worry I won't put how much was donated." (Authors great exposure)

At the end of the contest on June 1, I will pick two winners:

1. An author, publisher, or anyone who deals with the publishing world. They will be interviewed and their interview will be posted on my website, plus I will send a 20-dollar gift card to Wal-mart to the winner.
2. Readers, I will send you a twenty-five- dollar Wal-mart gift card and a copy of my two stories I have out. Also I will list you on my website when I announce the winner.
3. Author Nancy Gaffney will donate an Avon Jewelry Gift Set: A three different star-themed earrings, brand new in box.
4. Author Lori Foster will also be donating to the prize bundle! A tote bag and tee-shirt, a book, and other goodies!

With the way the economy is today, I know that One Way Farm Children's Home has to be very strained. Let's make it a great year for this home and its children.

Thank you Trinity Blacio.

That's it from me. God bless you, everyone. I hope all the moms out there have a fabulous, love-filled Mother's Day!
